General Information . . .

We appreciate the opportunity to work with you on your special event. We pride ourselves on being able to "customize a menu" to your specific needs. If there are menu items you would prefer to see, just ask, we would be happy to work with your ideas and give you a price.

CONTRACT A signed contract is required when booking your event with us.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT We require a non-refundable deposit when booking your event to secure your date and function as definite. 50% of your balance is due 6 months prior to your event date, another 25% is due 90 days prior to your event date with the remaining 25% due the day of your event.

GUARANTEES A guest count for your event is due when signing the contract. We also require a 100% gurarantee of the number of people to be served at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your event. The guaranteed number of guests can not be less then 85% of the original expected guest count. This will be the minimum number that your will be charged. The client is responsible for payment of the guaranteed head count, even if few guests attend the event. You will be billed for any additional guests over your expected guest count the day of the event.

FOOD POLICY Current prices are subject to change. Prices will be honored after menu selections have been made. We prepare enough food for your guaranteed head count and assure you that we will not run out of food. Due to insurance liability issues, we do not allow any food left on the buffet at the end of the event to be taken. This remaining food is the property of the Canyon Lake Resort. The only outside food allowed into our facility is a commercially made cake, canned nuts or commercially made candy.

RENTAL ITEMS If having your event at our facility we have numerous items for rent: Tents, linens, outside chairs, wedding ceremony supplies, wedding receptions supplies and our decorating services. If you are planning an off-site catered event, we also rent: Tents, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, silverware, glasses, etc.

There is no charge for delivery in the Rapid City area. A deposit of $500 is required to secure your event date with 75% of your balance due 90 days prior to your event. We require 100% guarantee of the number of people to be served at least 72 hours prior to your function. This will be the minimum number that you will be charged. All prices are subject to current sales tax.
